2nd CYBERWISER.eu Open Pilots Workshop

The 2nd CYBERWISER.eu Open Pilots Workshop will be held in Lille Grand Palais (France) on 31 January 2020.

This event will give the opportunity to SMEs to define a customised learning path based on their specific needs and train their staff for free. The workshop will also introduce attendees to complementary tools and services to support the cybersecurity needs of SMEs coming from other European R&I initiatives.

The Commission made a commitment to launch a pilot phase under Horizon 2020 to help bring national cybersecurity centres together into a network. In line with this goal, the Joint Research Centre (JRC) released a technical report aiming to align the cybersecurity terminologies, definitions and domains to capture all the aspects in building the cybersecurity realm of knowledge.

This report presented some of the existing cybersecurity clustering approach and methodology that has been adopted to build the taxonomy which serves as reference sources in the domain.

PROJECT OF THE WEEK - SPECIAL

The SPECIAL (Scalable Policy-awarE linked data arChitecture for prIvacy, trAnsparency and compLiance) project will address the contradiction between Big Data innovation and privacy-aware data protection by proposing a technical solution that makes both of these goals realistic.

Cyberwatching will join FIC2020 with two key initiatives aiming at raising awareness on cybersecurity and bringing into the spotlight key services, tools and solutions for European SMEs that can help them react to online threats and become more cybersecure.
