Welcome to the European Cybersecurity Competence COmmunity (ECCO).
We aim to communicate, promote and improve the visibility of work of the European Cybersecurity Community in cooperation with the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) amid the network of National Coordination Centres from across the European Union. ECCO was funded via the Public Tender CNECT-2022-OP-0033 to support the activities necessary to achieve our goals.
Via cyberwatching.eu ECCO is encouraging cooperation within the European Cybersecurity Community through the variety of mechanisms on offer such as the Radar “ADD LINK”, the Marketplace “ADD LINK” and via the many events “ADD LINK to events page” ongoing that will make it easier for the cybersecurity community to interact and promote cooperation both within and between the various topic-specific parts of European cybersecurity communities.
ECCO is also establishing a Market Observatory as a tool to gather information about the market and its trends contributing to an increased strategic autonomy thanks to a better understanding of market outlook and technology needs in Europe. Finally ECCO will also contribute to developing skills and competences for the academic and professional cybersecurity educational offer in Europe.
In the last few years, cyber security has become more of a priority for all types of organisations than ever before.
The European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), with the support of ECCO, launches “The Info Days”, a series of events to share information on important European calls and funding opportunities. The second event, organised in cooperation with the Swedish National Coordination Centre, will be held on 16 June 14:00 – 16:00 in Stockholm, as a side event of the Digital Assembly(15 – 16 June).
