"The objective of the project is to develop a biometric authentication system online and through the mobile device for applications with critical security levels, such as online voting.
The consortium consisting of EURECATand SCYTL SECURE ELECTRONIC VOTING will create a user authentication solution based on biometric and multi-factor technology (with the mobile device as an essential element), as well as the verification and the identification of the voter in remote electronic voting, facilitating access to citizens to the electoral processes, and therefore, improving the democratization and communication of public bodies in relation to citizenship."
