SIBIL-Lab - Secure digital Identity and automated fraud detection in B2B socIaL networks

Date:
01/04/2018 to 31/12/2021

Project Description:

SIBIL-Lab roadmap is focused on digital identity management and fraud detection in B2B social networks.

By enabling ALG to deploy a scalable and fraud-tolerant B2B platform, SIBIL-Lab will strongly strengthen ALG's position in its very competitive market. They will support ALG's strategy, which aims at developing disruptive services, addressing new lines of business, and conquering new international markets.

The originality of ALG's positioning is to provide to the partner companies of its platform, often competitors, a way to share, in a secure and confidential way, some of their financial data (ex: IBAN and contact details of suppliers) so that they are consolidated and analyzed, and that reliable information is disseminated within the network, thus countering fraud attempts.
Given the sensitivity of the data handled by ALG, issues of security, reliability (integrity, availability) and protection of sensitive information are top priorities.

For the LIRIS lab, SIBIL-Lab will support the research on fraud detection and secure data sharing, both topics being important items of the research agenda of the lab.
