International Cybersecurity Forum - 23/24 January, Lille

Date:
25/01/2018

FIC is widely recognized as one of the most prominent event on cybersecurity and digital trust across Europe with its combination of trade show and forum's elements. The central subjcet of this edition will be "Hyperconnection: the resilience challenge".

We are entering the "Internet of Everything" era, where people and machines are continually connected and communicate without any interruption. This brand new scenario poses a resilience challenge, namely the ability for systems to effectively tackle the consequences of an attack or the failure on one link of the chain, to resume business as normal. This new set-up will affect both organisations and governance of our society. Hence the need to better adapt practices, IT and security technologies, legislation and procedure to minimize the impact of this new environment on our everyday life.

FIC platform aims at promoting a pan-european vision of cybersecurity as well as to support the fight against cybersecurity. In order to achieve such an ambitious goal, FIC relies on:

  • A forum to discuss with experts, share best practices, gather ideas and professional point of views.
  • A trade show, to share technical know-how, fresh insights, build-up partnerships and recruit arising talents
  • An Observatory, to keep exchanging opinions and ideas even after the FIC conclusion, to explore matters in more depth and to strengthen the network of experts.

By joining the forum, everybody will be given the chance to attend plenary sessions, thematic worjshops, FIC talks, partner conferences, TV interviews and more than 300 speakers.

You can take a closer look at the official schedule of the event and get more info on how to reach the venue at the official FIC website.
