EU-US Maritime Cyber Security Landscape at 3rd NMIOTC Conference

The AEGIS project will present its paper, “Transatlantic Maritime Cybersecurity: Challenges and Ways Forward,” at the 3rd Annual Cybersecurity Conference organized by the NATO Maritime Institute for Operational Interdiction Training Center (NMIOTC). The conference will be held in Crete from April 10-11.

Europe is stepping up its protection against cybersecurity threats, and is discussing a new structure of pool of expertise which will help secure the digital single market and increase the EU’s autonomy in the area of cybersecurity.

Europe is currently working on the establishment of a top knowledge base for cybersecurity and a network of national cybersecurity coordination centres called the European Cybersecurity Industrial, Technology and Research Centre and the Network of National Coordination Centres.

CONCORDIA, ECHO, SPARTA and CyberSec4Europe are the projects winners of the Horizon 2020 cybersecurity call "establishing and operating a pilot for a European Cybersecurity Competence Network and developing a common European Cybersecurity Research & Innovation Roadmap".
