Seminar: Trusted cyber security information sharing within the European energy landscape

The European Energy - Information Sharing & Analysis Centre (EE-ISAC) in collaboration with ENISA, is organizing  a free-to-attend seminar on the 7th of September focusing on trusted cyber security information sharing within the European energy landscape.

The programme brings together cyber-security experts working for European energy utilities and aims to deliver multi-disciplinary, cyber security knowledge sharing at European level.

The seminar has three main themes:

  1. “Cyber-security knowledge sharing at European level”  - The morning session is organized in collaboration with the Thematic Network on Critical Energy Infrastructure Protection, TNCEIP, an initiative of the DG Energy of the European Commission, gathering European owners and operators of energy infrastructure in the electricity, the gas and the oil sectors.
  2. “The European threat landscape”  - In this early-afternoon session the european status of information security, with a special focus on critical infrastracture, will be explored. Among the presentations that will be delivered, is the “Introduction to the concept of ‘hybrid threats”, by the Scientific Officer at European Commission Joint Research Center, Mr. Georgios Giannopoulos.
  3. “Country Focus - Greece”  - The session will discuss the cyber security state-of-the art of Greece, focussing on lesson learned and best practices in the energy and industrial sector.
