IAPP Data Protection Intensive

Date:
11/03/2020 to 12/03/2020

Venue: etc.venues, London

The IAPP Data Protection Intensive: UK 2020 is an opportunity to sharpen your focus on the key operational issues set to unfold through the year. This year’s program features workshops and breakout sessions on subjects including artificial intelligence, adtech, children’s privacy rights, the details of GDPR compliance, the finer points of privacy impact statements and more.

Two-day privacy training classes are offered on 9-10 March, just before the main conference. The course outlines are European Data Protection, Privacy in Technology and Privacy Program Management. The classes will allow attendees to gain sought-after skills that can be applied right away, know-how they need to advance their career and instruction by world-class faculty working in data protection.

The event will be an opportunity to network with other professionals looking to help advance and support industry colleagues in the privacy field.

The keynote speaker is going to be Johnny Ryan, Chief Policy and Industry Relations Officer at Brave, who believes real-time bidding advertising auctions create the largest data breaches ever recorded, every single day. His campaign has the attention of regulators across the EU.
