StandICT.eu - Supporting European Experts contribution to International ICT Standardisation Activities

Are you an ICT specialist involved in one of the main field of the European Digital Single Market? StandICT.eu is the chance for you to give your contribution to the development of ICT standards on global basis and benefit of concrete financial support!

StandICT.eu is the response to a call of the European Commission for reinforcing European presence in international ICT standardisation in the five domains of Digital Single Market: Cloud Computing, IoT, Big Data, Cyber Security, and 5G.

StandICT.eu is a 24 month project (starting 1 Jan 2018) with the two partners Trust-IT Services (project coordinator) and Fraunhofer SCAI. The project will build a solid international community including all stakeholders playing a relevant role within the ICT global ecosystems coming from:

  • Specialised universities
  • Research institutes
  • Industry, Large industry and Vertical industry (e-health, Intelligent Transport System, green energy)
  • Policy makers
  • National governments
  • National Trade Associations
  • Owners of experimental platforms

StandICT will provide the possibility to ICT specialists to access grants to fund their proposal on the development of standards through a series of open call and a continuous cascading grants flow, split into three categories:

Long-term contribution: €5,000 - €8,000

Short-term contribution: €1,000 - €5,000

One-shot (event participation: €1,000 - €3,000
